Mindfulness is “The awareness that emerges when one purposely, and without judgment, pays attention to the unfolding of experience moment by moment.”… Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn
Mindfulness stems from traditional Buddhist practices. It is the heart of Buddhism in all its forms, yet its essence is universal. Simply put, its the practice of refining and directing one’s attention. Mindfulness is cultivating a state of utter presence in each moment. With many practical applications, Mindfulness can be learned by anybody who is willing to dedicate themselves to practicing.
