“There is one thing that, when cultivated and regularly practiced, leads to deep spiritual intention, to peace, to mindfulness and clear comprehension, to vision and knowledge, to happy life here and now and to the culmination of wisdom and awakening. And what is that one thing? – It is mindfulness centered on the body” [Guatama Buddha].
The Feldenkrais Method® of Awareness through Movement®, developed by the physicist Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, is based on the premise that we have forgotten how to move with natural ease. By paying close attention to the way we move and by exploring different variations, we can rediscover the free sense of movement we had in our early childhood, and undo many of the aches and pains that plague us as adults. Expanding our awareness of our body helps us ground more deeply in the Here and Now.
In this workshop you will -
Rock and Roll
Side to side, front and back
Round and round, up and down
We leave our age and aches behind
Please wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to roll on the floor.
